In light of recent events that have brought the platform to the limelight on traditional social media, there has been a lot of negativity coming from members of Steem community who feel Justin Sun's intent is to forcefully take control of the platform. I probably sound like a broken record right now but I'm going out on a whim to say it won't be the case.
Other than the fact that Steem is more popular than it has ever been, we also have a large influx of people joining the community simply because @justinsunsteemit has been talking about it on his social media channel.
I also like the fact that the Tron community is very welcoming to the idea and is always looking to interact with Steemians. My tweet at the Twitter account of @jtsofficial has really blown up and had numerous members of the Tron community interacting with my tweet
The reaction and impression from the post have been huge as well. I don't think I've ever gotten this much activity from a single tweet about cryptocurrency and that's as a result of the massive following and support that the Tron army has.
Reason to Worry?
There's some worrying news about @justinsunsteemit using the Super Rep votes to once again flex his financial muscle and take the bigger cake in block production.
Super Representatives are responsible for overseeing block production on Tron’s blockchain. As such, they receive a sizable portion of the coin rewards from each block. In plain terms, this means that Tron’s community rules were bypassed, arguably to further enrich its own foundation.
Ughh. I can't say I understand the techy side of it but it sounds to me like Sun's just being Sun. Do you think he'll do Steem in the same way? That's a scary thought.
