"Transaction broadcast error: Obsolete form of transaction detected, update your wallet."

I tried posting something earlier today, was unsuccessful, and I received this message. With the help of @joeyarnoldvn’s post, I tried to change the node in my hive wallet, but it only gave me two node options and both did not work.

To solve this issue, I created a PeakD account :

  • Click "Login" in the upper right-hand corner.
  • I selected PeakLock, but you have 4 choices.
  • Click on ADD ACCOUNT.
  • Input your hive account, your posting key and create a New Pin Code.
  • Input your PIN again.
  • The new account page opens up, then click “Start Benchmark.”
  • Then it states “Performing benchmark: --%” Wait to complete.
  • A list of nodes populates.
  • I selected the first node at the top, tried to post something, wasn't successful, then I selected the second node, etc...
  • I tried 3 times and the 3rd node from the top was successful.

Hope this helps someone out there.

Stay frosty people. Thanks for reading.
