Today is the day for you to be happy, I have brought you another very delicious recipe that can be made from potatoes. This is actually a snack. A delicious recipe that can be made from potatoes very quickly and simply. We call this potato chips. But this is made with a different method. Combined with a different taste. So let's see how to make it.
Ingredients;
- Two large potatoes
- About two handfuls of curry leaves
- About one and a half to two tablespoons of cornflour
- A cup of water
- 100ml of oil
- A tablespoon of salt cubes
- About two sweat papers
- About ten no of toothpicks
The method of making;
Peel the skins of the two potatoes, wash them and cut them into very thin round strips.
Now add salt to a bowl and add these thinly sliced potato strips and keep it for about ten minutes.
Fry curry leaves in very low flame. If you can get the color intact, it's really worth it.
Grind the fried curry leaves into very small pieces.
Remove the potato strips soaked in salt and wash them thoroughly with water two or three times.
To remove the water from the washed and cleaned potatoes, spread them well on a thin surface and wipe them with serviat paper two or three times. Then the water is removed.
Place the drained potato strips on a dry surface and sprinkle some cornflour.
Sprinkle some curry powder on it.
Now place the remaining potato strips on it.
Now sprinkle the rest of the cornflour on it and then sprinkle the rest of the curry powder.
Roll and hold the strips of potato stacked on top of each other with a toothpick as shown in the image.
Now add oil to a piece and when the oil heats up, reduce the heat of the stove and fry these potato strips on low flame until golden.
My daughter really likes this taste. Because there is no harshness here. But I like the smell of curry leaves here. It has added a taste that makes you want to eat. Also, with the crispy quality of the fried potatoes, the feeling of hunger is really felt more here. As I feel, potato chips can be called as a delicious snack that can be made from potatoes very easily with very few ingredients.
