I have to say that I have always taken care of my stuff, but when I love something, I take care of it three times as much haha, this is the case of my One Direction collection which is not only albums but also posters, magazines, postcards, etc, however today we will only talk about the albums. This is the first of the band "All Up Night" their single "What makes you beautiful" was my favourite and I listened to it for the first time at the closing event of the 2012 Olympics, it was love at first sight, the following week I had already researched the band and I was already a Directioner.
Tengo que decir que siempre he cuidado muchísimo mis cosas, pero cuando amo algo, lo cuido el triple haha, es el caso de mi colección de One Direction que no solo son discos sino afiches, revistas, postales, etc, sin embargo hoy hablaremos solo de los discos. Este es el primero de la agrupación "All Up Night" su sencillo "What makes you beautiful" era mi preferido y lo oí por primera vez en el evento de cierre de las olimpiadas de 2012, fue amor a primera vista, a la siguiente semana ya había investigado al grupo y ya era una Directioner.

Going back to the band, what I liked most about them was their music, I have nothing against 90's pop, in fact I like it, but One Direction's proposal was different, their genre (the band's own) was a mix of pop rock and alternative, which also freed them from dancing (something that none of them enjoyed, This freedom meant that they were less dependent on following a strict choreography on stage and could interact more with the fans, and their music, although somewhat was commercial, was a bit different from the standards of the boy bands of the time.
Volviendo al grupo, lo que más me gustó de ellos fue su música, no tengo nada en contra del pop de los 90, de hecho me gusta, pero la apuesta de One Direction fue diferente, su género (propio del grupo) era una mezcla de pop rock y alternativo, lo que además los libraba de bailar (cosa que ninguno disfrutaba, mucho menos Zayn), esa libertad hacia que estuvieran menos pendientes de seguir una coreografía estricta en el escenario y pudiesen interactuar más con las fans, además su música, aunque de cierto modo comercial, se salía un poco de los estándares de las boy bands de hasta entonces.
I think this album was very well done to introduce us to the 5 members, the verses were pretty well spread out (so we could get to know all 5 voices) it had a good number of ballads and upbeat songs, and the artwork was fun and fresh hinting at the personality of the guys. I fell even more in love with the band when I heard all the songs on their first album.
Creo que este disco estuvo muy bien hecho para presentarnos a los 5 integrantes, las estrofas estaban bastante bien repartidas (así podíamos conocer las 5 voces) tenía un buen numero de baladas y canciones movidas, y el arte era divertido y fresco haciendo alusión a la personalidad de los chicos. Quedé aún más enamorada del grupo al oír todas las canciones de su primer disco.
I also got the DVD of the album tour. By then One Direction was already a worldwide phenomenon. The Dvd shows, of course, the concert but also a behind the scenes and moments during the tour, it's a lot of fun to watch.
También obtuve el DVD de la gira del disco. Para ese entonces ya One Direction era un fenómeno a nivel mundial. El Dvd muestra por su puesto el concierto, pero también un detrás de cámaras y momentos durante el viaje, es muy divertido de ver.
Then came "Take me Home" This is my favourite of all, the artwork is very British, with the iconic London phone box, plus the guys' casual clothes also represent the country they come from. The songs (in my opinion) were even better, they were catchy, easy to sing along to, the lyrics were cute and fun.

I also liked the music videos better (they had more production, of course) and they alluded to fun in a way that appealed to all teenagers and young adults.

From this album my favourite song was "Litle Things". It's a very relaxing and beautiful acoustic melody, the boys' voices are perfect, and the lyrics, although we could say it's more of the same, with the boys' interpretations are more heartfelt and I think it's an added value.
De este disco mi canción preferida fue "Litle Things" Es una melodía acústica muy relajante y bonita, las voces de los chicos son perfectas, y la letra de la canción, aunque podríamos decir que es más de lo mismo, con las interpretaciones de los chicos son más sentidas y creo que es un valor agregado.
Midnight Memories marked a before and after, it was the point of One Direction's evolution and I must say that it was a good evolution. This album had more Rock and less Pop (something that the members had been pursuing for a while and finally achieved) and it was also with a more than satisfactory result. I remember that especially this album was a bit expensive, so I had to work a lot to buy it and that's why today I'm angry and I'm going to tell you why.
Midnight Memories marcó un antes y un después, fue el punto de la evolución de One Direction y debo decir que fue una buena evolución. Este disco tuvo más Rock y menos Pop (algo que venían persiguiendo los integrantes desde hace un tiempo y que finalmente lograron) además fue con un resultado más que satisfactorio. Recuerdo que especialmente este álbum costó un poco caro, así que tuve que trabajar bastante para comprármelo y es por eso que hoy estoy enfadada, prosigo a contar porqué.
Some time ago I lent my records and part of my One Direction collection to someone, and when she gave them back to me, some of them were pretty badly damaged, I complained but of course there was nothing I could do about it. Today when I opened them up to take these photos, I realised that this person took the centre page out of the songbook, she stole it and I realised it because I was looking through the pages to choose one to photograph and I noticed that there were two members missing from the songbook (Zayn and Niall). I don't normally lend my stuff to just anyone, so I thought this person was trustworthy until he did that, I even researched an unboxin online to give her the benefit of the doubt (although it was stupid to look, as no band songbook comes without one of the members) and of course that page was missing.

Hoy que me puse a abrirlos para hacer estas fotos, me di cuenta de que a este disco esa persona le sacó la pagina central al cancionero, se la robó y me di cuenta porque pasando las hojas para escoger alguna para fotografiar noté que faltaban dos integrantes en el cancionero (Zayn y Niall). Normalmente no le presto mis cosas a cualquiera, así que esta persona pensé que era de confianza hasta que hizo eso, incluso investigué un unboxin por internet para darle el beneficio de la duda (aunque era estúpido buscar, ya que ningún cancionero de un grupo viene sin alguno de los integrantes) y por supuesto faltaba esa hoja.
I have never lent them to anyone but this person, and when I gave them to her, every single one of my discs was intact. I'm not going to make a complaint because I know she will blame the people who work in the post office (since when I asked for them she sent them to me by post) and because when I complained about the mistreatment of the other things she said it wasn't her fault, so it's not worth it, but it's pretty ugly to do that to anyone, even more so when the person in question worked very hard to get them.
Nunca los he prestado a nadie más que a esta persona, y cuando se los entregué, todos y cada uno de mis discos estaban enteros. No le voy a hacer un reclamo porque se que le echará la culpa a las personas que laboran en el correo (ya que cuando se los pedí me los envió por correo) y porque cuando le reclamé por el maltrato de las otras cosas que me envió, eso fue lo que dijo, así que no vale la pena, pero si es bastante feo hacerle eso a cualquier persona, más aun cuando esa persona en cuestión trabajo muy duro para obtenerlos.
Going back to the album, my favourite song was Storie of my Life, although I liked almost all the songs equally, another thing I liked the most is that the guys were involved in the creation of some songs, Happily (whose manager was Harry Styles) is also one of my favourites.

Four was the fourth album and the last one with the 5 original members. The songs follow the same line as the previous album, it's the album I like the least (although I still like it hehe) my favourite song is Spaces and it has a melody that I like a lot.
Four fue el cuarto disco y último con los 5 integrantes iniciales. Las canciones siguen la misma linea que las del disco anterior, es el disco que menos me gusta (aunque igual me gusta jeje) mi canción preferida es Spaces, y es que tiene una melodía que me gusta bastante.
What I always liked about the 1D albums is that they had about 20 songs on them, so there was plenty of material to enjoy.
Lo que siempre me gustó de los discos de 1D es que traían cerca de las 20 canciones, así que era bastante material para disfrutar.
Finally, this is the second DVD of One Direction's tour, on the heels of Midnight Memories. The Dvd comes with behind the scenes footage of the concert and also the concert itself, it's a way to get to know the 5 artists better and to get closer to their world.
Por último, este es el segundo DVD de la gira de One Direction, al punto de Midnight Memories. El Dvd viene con el detrás de cámaras del concierto y también el concierto como tal, es una forma de conocer mejor a los 5 artistas y de acercarse más a su mundo.
It's very exciting to see as we see each of the countries on the tour, how excited the fans are to go and see the guys. Every time I see it I get excited all over again.
Es muy emocionante de ver ya que vemos cada uno de los países de la gira, lo emocionados que están los fans de ir a ver a los chicos. La verdad cada vez que lo veo me emociono otra de nuevo.
