Here my entry for the CCC's Street Art Contest #70 with a stunning mural done by Kevin Ledo with the help of Jenna Schwartz. This seems to be an commercial order for Expedia but all traces of advertising from them have been removed. And much better like that. 😀
Voici mon entrée pour cette semaine pour le CCC's Street Art Contest #70 avec cette superbe murale faite par Kevin Ledo avec l'aide de Jenna Schwartz. Cela semble-être une commande pour Expedia mais toute trace de publicité de leur part a été effacée. Et bien mieux comme cela. 😀

Born in Montreal in 1978, Kevin Ledo. finished his studies of Illustration and Design at Dawson College (Montreal) in 1999. With his murals, he aspires to create visually bold and iconic compositions, focusing on portraits with stylized abstract forms generally without background.
Né à Montréal en 1978, Kevin Ledo. a terminé ses études en Design au Collège Dawson en 1999. Avec ses murales, il créée de superbes compositions visuelles avec générallement un portrait réaliste avec des formes géométriques abstraites pour fond.
Jenna Schwartz is an artist from Montral. She studied at the Concordia University in Creative Arts. In her work, she likes to promote diversity.

Kevin Ledo wanted to keep a low profile on this work because he was uncomfortable with the commercial aspect of it. But after a difficult year financially for the artists (and not only for them), I understand the approach. We all need $ to live. But unfortunately for him, his style betrayed him 😀 (source: Instagram)
Kevin Ledo voulait faire profil bas sur cette oeuvre car il se sentait mal à l'aise avec l'aspect commercial de la murale. Mais après une année difficile financièrement pour les artistes (et pas seulement pour eux), je comprends très bien la démarche. On a tous besoin de $ pour vivre. Mais malheureusement pour lui son style l'a trahi. 😀 (source : Instagram)
Despite the fact that this is an order (this is by no means a fault), I find this mural very beautiful with these colors. And since I didn't know the sponsor at first, I thought it was a message of mutual aid because the mural is located in a parking lot where there is an audiovisual bus to train and help the native community of Montreal.
Malgré le fait que cela soit une commande (c'est nullement un défaut), je trouve cette murale très belle avec cette palette de couleurs. Et comme je ne savais pas au début le commanditaire, je pensais que c'était un message d'entraide car la murale se trouve sur un parking ou se trouve un bus audiovisuel pour former et aider la communauté autochtone de Montréal.
