Good morning community, today I am joining @trippymane's Graffiti ° 9 (XMAS) contest. This is the first time I have participated. And although I am not an expert I love to draw, every day I learn a little more. My goal is to enter digital art soon to continue sharing my creativity with you.
Buenos días comunidad, hoy me sumo al concurso de Graffiti° 9 (XMAS) de @trippymane. Esta es la primera vez que participo. Y aunque no soy experta me encanta dibujar, cada día aprendo un poco más. Tengo como meta incurrir próximamente en el arte digital para seguir compartiendo mi creatividad con ustedes.

For this work I was inspired by the innocence of children and, of course, the magic of Christmas. In general, for the contest the word in English is used, however, reading the comments I noticed that this time it could be done in Spanish, so I will take advantage of the fact that we are in the Christmas season and they authorized it (hehe).
Para este trabajo me inspiré en la inocencia de los niños y, por supuesto, en la magia de la Navidad. Por lo general, para el concurso se utiliza la palabra en inglés, sin embargo, leyendo los comentarios me fijé que en esta ocasión se podía hacer en español, así que aprovecharé que estamos en época decembrina y lo autorizaron(jeje).
When thinking about Christmas, my mind related trees, decorations, hats, reindeer, canes and that was what I captured. Step by step I will show you the process. I worked on paper with cold paints.
Al pensar en Navidad mi mente relacionó árboles, decoración, gorros, renos, bastones y eso fue lo que plasmé. Paso a paso les mostraré el proceso. Trabajé en papel con pinturas al frío.
After marking the sketch, I began to paint with the colors typical of these festivities. I started with red and white to spice up the hat.
Luego de marcar el boceto, empecé a pintar con los colores propios de estas festividades. Empecé con rojo y blanco para darle vida al gorro.
The letters that represent the trees I painted in green to allude to tradition.
Las letras que representan a los árboles las pinté en verde para hacer alusión a la tradición.
The letters "v" and "d" were inspired by the horns of the reindeer, so I colored them in brown. The decorative balls and the candy cane in red and white. To highlight the word I edged with yellow.
Las letras "v" y "d" estuvieron inspiradas en los cachos de los renos, así que las coloreé en marrón. Las bolas decorativas y el bastón de dulce en rojo y blanco. Para resaltar la palabra bordeé con amarillo.
Also, I defined all the lines with black.
Asimismo, definí todas las líneas con negro.
I thought an ideal combination for the background would be green, so I used three shades.
Me pareció que una combinación ideal para el fondo sería el verde, así que usé tres tonos.
Finally, I made some effects to the letters with darker shades and I finished the Graffiti with some snowflakes around it. I hope you like it.
Por último, realicé algunos efectos a las letras con matices más oscuros y terminé el Graffiti con unos copos de nieve alrededor. Espero que sea de su agrado.
