Murals of the Angels - A Divine Harpist

Being momentarily in Los Angeles, I could not forego stopping to admire some beautiful murals. And as I expected, this town in perfect for murals. Just like in Mexico City, there is a strong and vibrant muralist culture here, and I didn't have to try too hard to find some. In fact, they seemed to pop up just about anywhere I looked.

Walking down 7th Street, a took a glance at the intersecting Hartford Avenue and saw a multi-colored wall painting stretching over the facade of an otherwise bland building. The Monarch butterflies on the yellow part already looked pretty neat, but centered in the red section there was a picture of this gorgeous woman playing a harp.

Other than her smile and lovely appearance, what I found especially impressive, where the clouds surrounding her. All together it gave me an impression of some sort of divinity from classical Greek mythology.

Try as I might, I could not make out the artist's name. Their tag is a stylish design, and the mural was apparently painted last year, but other than that there I could not find any closer info, where I could provide the artist's name. Sorry! But maybe you can get a better idea of who this talented muralist is. If you do find anything online, please don't hesitate dropping me a link in the comments.
