A few days ago I went looking for a coffee in the afternoon, and ended up trying the oreo milkshake they offered at the "Coffee Shop", and about that I want to tell you my experience.
I am a lover of milk shakes, since the moment I tried them, being in Rio de Janeiro for work. I remember that every night I escaped from the hotel to the Mc Donald's that was a block away to taste any of the three flavors they offered.
Of course, when I returned to Venezuela, taking one of those was only in the memory. And many years passed before I found them again.
Being in Argentina I found a place where they sell them, but it is a bit far from my house, so I went with my children one day to eat there, and among the order came the milkshake, being the first time they tried something similar.
And you will think, Why didn't she make it at home? And the truth is that it is not difficult to prepare, but in my opinion, it always tastes better when you buy it already made, besides that if you are a person who does not go out for a walk, it is the perfect excuse to get out of the work-home routine.
In this very nice and cozy place, they only offer the oreo milkshake, which does not leave badly to those who make it. It comes with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream and oreo cookies pulverized inside. To decorate two oreo cookies that you can take out with a spoon when you want, because they are at the beginning of the drink.
The thickness of the sorbet makes you absorb without anything being trapped inside, a situation that particularly bothers me.
Another thing I liked is that it was not too cold, but at the point, so you could take a lot without my brain getting cold, as happens when you eat something very frozen.
And as for me it was not enough chocolate, because I accompanied it with a chocolate muffin with dark chocolate chips, of which, as you can see, there was only the photograph.
It was a very pleasant experience, especially because my initial intention was to drink coffee, so I hope to return soon and accompanied by my children.
Hace unos días me fui buscando un café a media tarde, y terminé probando la milkshake de oreo que ofrecían en la "Tienda del Café", y sobre eso quiero contarle mi experiencia.
Yo soy amante de las merengadas con leche, desde el momento que las probé, estando en Río de Janeiro por trabajo. Recuerdo que cada noche me escapaba del hotel al Mc Donald´s que quedaba a una cuadra para degustar cualquiera de los tres sabores que ofrecían.
Por supuesto que cuando volví a Venezuela, tomar una de esas quedó solo en el recuerdo. Y pasaron muchos años para que las volviera a encontrar.
Estando en Argentina encontré un lugar donde las venden, pero me queda un tanto retirado de mi casa, así que fui con mis hijos un día a comer ahí, y entre la orden venía la milkshake, siendo la primera vez que ellos probaban algo similar.
Y ustedes pensarán, ¿Por qué no la hizo en su casa? Y la verdad es que no es difícil de preparar, pero a mi parecer, siempre sabe mejor cuando la compras ya hecha, además que siendo una persona que no sale de paseo, es la excusa perfecta para salir de la rutina trabajo-casa.
En este local, muy lindo y acogedor, ofrecen solo la milkshake de oreo, la cual no deja mal parado a quien la realiza. Viene con crema batida, helado de vainilla y galletas oreo pulverizadas en su interior. Para decorar dos galletas oreo que puedes sacar con una cucharita cuando gustes, pues están al inicio de la bebida.
El grosor del sorbete hace que puedas absorber sin que se quede nada atrapado en su interior, situación que particularmente me resulta bastante molesta.
Otra de las cosas que me gustó es que no estaba demasiado fría, sino en su punto, así que se podía tomar de a mucha cantidad sin que se me enfriara el cerebro, como pasa cuando comes algo muy congelado.
Y como para mi no era suficiente chocolate, pues la acompañé con un muffing de chocolate con chispas de chocolate amargo, de lo cual, como pueden ver, no quedó sino la fotografía.
Fue una muy grata experiencia, sobre todo porque mi intención inicial era tomar café, así que espero volver para repetirla pronto y acompañada de mis hijos.
