I'm aiming to post one of these each Sunday. They aren't a replacement for the excellent daily prompts from @worldbuilding they're just an extra opportunity if you have a writing itch you want to scratch. 😀

The prompt this week is - Rebuilding
The end of the world has come, civilisation has fallen ! Then people being people, the survivors stand up, dust themselves off, and start to rebuild. Tell me a tale of how the people in your setting rebuild. What are they up against ? Who takes charge ? Do they try to rebuild the same, or differently ? What do they lack, what is missing from before that cannot be replicated ? What can they salvage from the old world to help them ?
Just to add a bit of spice to things, the two entries I most like (and are linked in comments to this post, so I can find them !) that are posted by midnight (GMT) next Saturday will each get a prize of one Hive SBI.
