La Gatta proverbiale
Cats and rain [ITA/EN]
ITA

Usually nursery rhymes recited to children contain useful teachings and an educational morality. Yet I have been able to observe personally that the tiritera note that begins with the verse "It rains, the cat does not move, ..." does not correspond to the truth.
Domestic cats prefer to keep the coat dry and, therefore, fearing to get wet, as soon as it starts to rain the Cat looks for a shelter.
For a while the cat observes the surrounding environment.
The situation is rather boring and causes the Cat to yawn.
And finally, impatiently, the Cat stretches pleased and satisfied.
