Things really didn't go to plan today. My intention was to go for a nice easy run before lunch but when I woke up there was a reminder on my phone that it was one of my friend's birthday today which I had completely forgotten about.
So as soon as I got back from my first shift at work I headed off into town to get a card and a little gift. I also ended up with a list of things that my wife needed in town too.
By the time I got back home I had very little time to take card and gift to my friend before I had to get back to work for my second shift.
Now that I'm back home, I can smell dinner cooking and I really cant muster the enthusiasm to go for my run. Never mind, I'll have to make sure I go tomorrow.
