Today was a very special day organised by our own @steevc - Hive meetup in Hitchin!
We were very lucky with the weather; after a very wet Saturday and some rain in the morning it cleared around lunchtime just as we set off from the station! Happy Hivers!
We had in attendance @steevc, @daniellemurray, @stav, @atma.love, @alonicus and, of course, my Mia girl!
It was fabulous to see some Hivers offline and get to chat about how others are doing things. I am still learning about all the different areas and I got some nice tips. It's also great to get to know some more people that I can ask direct questions.
Yes, I know, I should get into Discord as well.. All in good time.. 😄
So here are a few pictures of a very pleasant afternoon that started with a bit of a country walk and ended at the Market Square to some classical singing and a little food and drink.

Next off to the Market Place past St Mary's Church and the War Memorial
This area is popular spot with buskers especially further back on the other side of that little river there.
Finally sitting down.. I did feel my feet after being out in the morning too.
The Square was busy as always on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Hitchin takes great care in getting people out and about.

The guy there by the little green building entertained with some classical tunes. He sure had a great voice to fill the square with!
You may be able to spot Harpreet from the Angels Share walking past as I took the picture.
We Jammers hold regular open mics at his place and some of us have been seen busking here ourselves!
We came across @steve-o2023 at that point but I forgot to take a pic. I'm sure we get to see some more pics from the others at some point.
Back to find the car and passing Hitchin Town Hall by chance.
I didn't know where that lived until then..
