We went for a Picnic today a few miles down river from where we have been staying. The place was called Ambialet and it has a strange river formation where the river loops back round in nearly a complete loop. Very strange but there is a big rock in between.
The French have build a wier to hold the water back and a hydroelectric plant between the two branches of the river. You can see from my photo that there is quite a height differential.
It was an interesting place to have our picnic lunch.
I took the photos with a drone. It was a great place to fly it too.
