After some shopping and other essentials I took an evening cycle ride.
After crossing the railway via the footway crossing I ventured along some local bridal ways which utilize private roads, where I took the picture of some wild primroses.
Crossing a main road, into Owlbeech woods. Again along some private shared drives and footpaths.
Quite narrow but cycleable...just!
Now turning for home at about the halfway point. Into St Leonards forest, up up up to the highest point of the ride.
After descending the hill by road into Holmbush wood then finally emerging into Buchan Park.
The lake looks peaceful at almost dusk by this time. A great feeling to get out again on my mountain bike. I look forward to many more this summer!
Two males... One female... One is going to be unlucky this time 😁.
