Fairy doors galore!
So today for our very last day in Ireland we chose to ride a section of the Greenway trail. A converted rail route between Dungarvan and Waterford.

My daughter and I rode for about an hour in each direction which was rewarding for the views!

After navigating a tunnel we came across some fairy doors. A tradition here where school children design a miniature fairy door and display them at this place in the railway cutting location. Very cute!

A lovely way to spend some free time while also getting some exercise into the bargain. This part of Ireland is beautiful, along the south coast.

Next time we visit we will go further along this route. Today only 6 miles of the 40 mile route. I was surprised to see that it is tarmac surfaced. Something that similar tracks in England are not.
