A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.
The anticyclone of the Azores has merged along Canada with the anticyclone of Greenland causing a retrograde motion of an Atlantic perturbation towards the Azores that has forced the rise of tremendously hot Saharan currents with peaks that break all the records of the warm in the middle of the Mediterranean.
As you can see from the American charts this violent wave of super heat will remain active for over two weeks. If confirmed the situation on Italy will be exceptionally very dangerous.
Meanwhile in Naples the heat increases day by day and today a general strike of public transport leaves the customers on foot. So no iamalivechallenge in the city center. If there wasn’t this heat wave maybe you could consider doing something on foot.
After returning because I found that all public transport joined the strike despite a certain precept I prepared lunch and went down to shop.
In the evening the temperatures dropped a little and I went down for a walk in the village. The last lights of the sunset illuminated a turquoise sky while Venus presented herself with her forms in perfect shining health.
The neighborhood tonight seemed deserted but the dim lights hid the many people who came down trying to recover a breath of fresh natural air.
The lights began to turn on the degraded popular skyscrapers of the suburbs, giving suggestive sceneries of urban exploration.
The Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Snow in Ponticelli has received a concrete coat of paint and will be renewed for the next celebration of the patronal feast of the district to be held in early August.
Today I’m particularly excited to celebrate #iamalivechallenge 397 and I’m ready to take on the next heat wave and stay #alive. With courage and preparation you can face any task.
