It was an average day at work. I got a good number of people with abdominal pain. Of them, urinary problems were the dominant symptoms. During the evening shift, one patient came with severe pain in his lower abdomen radiating to his private parts. He was severely distressed with pain. I couldn't even take the proper history. I gave the injections first to relieve his pain. Later urine test revealed the features of stones!
In the morning, one worried Omani patient came with throat pain. He was also having tooth pain. Moreover, he was given an antibiotic from another clinic for tonsillitis. Then why did he come to me?
He was worried that his throat pain could be due to throat cancer!! His right-sided tonsil was infected with pus over it. I explained to him that his current problem was due to an infection, not cancer.
After lunch, I walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes. It helped me reach 10k steps.
