It was a quite busy work day for me in my clinic. You may already know if you paid attention to my previous posts. On Saturday, I do duty as a single GP. On some Saturdays, it doesn't make me tired. However, on most Saturdays, it is quite tiring. Today was a similar tiring day for me.
I consulted 60 patients today in my chamber. There were rush hours from 5 pm to 8:30 pm. I couldn't go to the mosque to offer the prayer. I had to do that in my chamber.
Some patients are easy to handle while some are quite challenging. Some patients require less time for consultation while others need a comparatively long time. So, when a challenging & time-consuming patient comes, it puts more pressure on me. Today I got a few such patients.
Anyway, my duty wasn't finished at 10 pm. At 9:55 pm l, one lady patient came with shortness of breath. She returned from Hajj 5 days before. From Saudi Arabia, she caught a cold. It increased over time. Today came with continued cough and breathing difficulties.
I did an X-ray at first. It showed no serious problem. So, I gave symptomatic management with nebulization and injections. I reached home at 10:30 pm.
