Another week is over; from the perspective of the job. Tomorrow Friday is my weekend. I have to do some tasks on Friday, but a day away from the patients and the clinic is more important.
On Thursday, I consulted over 30 patients in my chamber. I got various kinds of patients. One of the last patients was one Pakistani, who came with severe pain in his left flank area. It was a suspected case of a left ureteric stone.
Before that, one Bangladeshi worker came with cramps in his muscle, vomiting several times and vertigo. He worked under the Sun and later developed these symptoms. It was a heat-related case.
One Omani came with severe throat pain, along with body pain. While he was having his throat issue, one of his friends told him to eat ice cream! He listened to his friend and symptoms worsened.
One less-pain-threshold lady came with fever and body pain. While it looked like she was in agony due to her illness, I found no outward signs. She was even screaming while the nurse attempted to check her blood sugar from the finger tip.
While I managed above mentioned and more patients presented with different kinds of disease, I am alive, healthy and thriving. Alhamdulillah.
