Alive and Thriving on Monday even though in a fearful situation due to political turmoil | Actifit Report number 1001

Hi, there. Assalamu Alaikum. How are you? I hope that you are doing well. Welcome to my actifit as well as Alive and Thriving post on Monday.

It is a post after a long pause. These irregularities have become a norm here nowadays for me. My busy offline life is keeping me away from the online arena. I am trying to be back to some extent. I am posting Larry Is Alive posts daily. I will try to do the same from this account as well.

One of the main concerns here in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is the political turmoil! The opposition parties are observing a countrywide strike. It is no longer peaceful. The government is unwilling to listen to the demands of the opposition parties. The current party has been in the power (running government) since 2008. They have changed the constitution according to their will. In 1996, the opposition party (now the government party), did similar strikes to establish a "caretaker government " to conduct fair and acceptable elections. But, when they formed the government, they abolished the system. Now, the current opposition parties don't want to participate in the election without the restoration caretaker government system.

We had a strike on Sunday and Monday. Tuesday is off. On Wednesday and Thursday will observe the strike again. In different parts, we see clashes. They are putting fire on public buses. So, it is a somewhat fearful situation.

Amid this situation, I am travelling to my village home tonight and will return tomorrow night In Sha Allah.
