Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday again we started the day with a slow walk in the yard with Kaia, checking out the fall colors, some already gone, some just starting.
Also plenty of signs of all that rain the day before.
And of course Le Chat still enjoying the dog bed on the deck.
In the afternoon, the weather cleared up and the blue sky was beautiful.
Nice contrast with all that green in the front yard.
Kaia also seems to wonder why these trees' foliage didn't even start turning yet.
But no time to think about it, it was a good time to go for another short walk, just like the previous day.
The clouds looked very cool I thought.
Why is Kaia getting all excited? Can you see that small fuzzy dot in the distance? Yep, Le Chat was on her way to meet us.
So she could finish the walk with us.
But I wasn't done. After I dropped them both at home, I went for another walk, faster this time. First in the forest where I saw this curious deer.
And finally beyond the wall to catch the last colors of the sunset. They were especially fiery!
And that was it for the day. Still no run, I just didn't find the motivation to run at night. Like I said yesterday, the race this week end will probably be terrible!
