A lot of people, my “old self” included, hike only in good weather. About two years ago I learnt to enjoy mountains even when the weather isn’t perfect.
A pouring rain with thunderstorms aside, I found beauty in rainy mountains. The air is clear, wet forest emits a very pleasant fragrance. Yes, there’s mud.No, there aren’t breathtaking views. Still, I do enjoy hikes like today.
