Now my wife had the day off and she doesn't think she has lived unless she goes on a hike for the day.
Not only that but it has to be done in the morning so she can have an afternoon nap.
So today's dog walk was a 2hr walk to Ledgeview lookout here in Abbotsford.

You can pretty much see the whole town from the lookout and on a clear day it is a great view.
Even nicer if we haven't had a drought and the grass is green. Oh well, can't change that so just have to enjoy brown grass.
The walk up to the lookout is pretty steep but not terrible.

of course if you didn't know where you were going you might never find the entrance to the park. it's hidden by a construction zone.

After the 2hr walk I think the dog was more tired than my wife and I.

After the morning walk my wife decided it was time to do some shopping and we went to Devon Greenhouse. It was actually way more interesting than I thought it would be, but I'll be saving that for a #marketfriday post.
Then off to Wal-Mart to buy some cheap shelves. Or so I thought...my wife turned it into a much longer shopping trip.
Return home and then the dog needs to go for his evening walk. Nothing wrong with that except it finally decided to rain.
I know we need the rain, but a little better timing would have been great.
Overall that was good for just over 22K steps. I can live with that .
Especially when I got to enjoy a peaceful evening watching TV after all that (watched Paradise on Netflix).
And that is it for the day.
Thanks for reading.
Until tomorrow
