Greetings, music enthusiasts of the Music community! I wholeheartedly wish you a wonderful Thursday. Today I share with you a multi-instrumental cover, as I have done before in this showcase; it’s a very beautiful song, representative of the symphonic metal ballads.
"Sleeping Sun", a piece of music composed by Tuomas Holopainen, and performed by the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish as part of their album Oceanborn, released in 1999, in this case adapted to my vocal register at 1 tone lower.
From the lyrics of the song we can see that it speaks of a sort of eclipse or it could be a sunset that somehow reflects the frame of mind of the singer, resulting in a composition full of much feeling and a touch of nostalgia.
I hope that my version on acoustic guitar, electric guitar, voice, bass and drums will be to the like of many; I recommend using headphones to better capture the low tones of the bass. The video was edited in Movavi.
¡Saludos, entusiastas de la música de la comunidad Music! Deseo de todo corazón que tengan un maravilloso jueves. Hoy les comparto un cover multiinstrumental, como lo he hecho antes en esta vitrina; se trata de una canción muy hermosa, representativa de las baladas del metal sinfónico.
“Sleeping Sun”, pieza musical compuesta por Tuomas Holopainen, e interpretada por la banda de metal sinfónico finlandesa Nightwish como parte de su álbum Oceanborn, lanzado en el año 1999, en este caso adaptada a mi registro vocal a 1 tono más bajo.
Por la letra de la canción podemos ver que habla de una especie de eclipse o bien podría ser un ocaso que refleja de alguna manera el estado de ánimo de quien canta, resultando en una composición cargada de mucho sentimiento y un toque de nostalgia.
Espero que mi versión en guitarra acústica, guitarra eléctrica, voz, bajo y batería sea del gusto de muchos; recomiendo usar audífonos para captar mejor los tonos graves del bajo. El video fue editado en Movavi.
