Calm in front of our eyes / Mindfulmonday

In a world full of noise, it is easy to get lost and lose our balance.

Man is part of a whole and does not escape the effects of chaos. The important thing is to find the path that allows us to establish a balance and reorder our thoughts.

The ways to find balance are as diverse as we are. There is no single way that works for everyone. Sometimes the balance is right in front of our eyes.

We have been endowed with great senses. Smell, taste, touch, hearing, and sight are our connections to the external environment. It is our responsibility to take from the external environment the elements that produce well-being.

One of the most powerful senses we humans have is sight. It is a true gift to appreciate the shapes and colors of the things that surround us. However, we must avoid saturating it with social networks and only look around us.

Escaping into nature every evening to find in the light of the sunset the path to balance has become one of my favorite activities.

Hunting a sunset requires the visual acuity to be attentive to changes in the brightness of the sky.

A sunset can last up to a couple of hours. But the moment of sundown happens in a few minutes. These are minutes when time stops and calmness takes over my whole body. It seems like an eternal time where there is only a beautiful silence, and all my other senses are activated to receive the last sun rays of the day. It is a moment to find myself.

What is the best sunset I have ever experienced? All of them! They have all taught me the value of living in the present and knowing that there is a next day to try to do things in the best way possible.

Sitting in front of the sea contemplating the sunset, I can feel the strongest breeze. Listening to the waves crashing against the shore. Feeling intensely the last rays of sun on my skin. My breathing is transformed into a powerful and calm experience at the same time.

These are moments where I can't help but think of all those who find inspiration in the wonderful elements of nature. Sometimes it is necessary and healthy to take a few minutes and get away from it all to come back recharged and shine the best of ourselves.

It is moments like these that make you feel between "heaven and earth", just like the melody composed by the great Japanese musician Kitaro. Have you heard it? If you haven't heard this melody, I leave you the link so you can enjoy it...but you must promise me that you will listen by calmly watching each photograph I have shared. I assure you that you will have a sublime experience and feel a feeling of incredible peace.
