(D) Da an der spanischen Nordküste des Atlantiks regnerisches Wetter angesagt war, haben meine Freundin und ich uns auf unserer gemeinsamen Reise entschieden, quer durch Spanien in Richtung des Duero-Tales zu fahren. Kurz vor der portugiesischen Grenze, in der spanischen Provinz Castilla y León, sind wir über die Staumauer des Stausees "Basin de Almendra" gefahren. Und als ich alle diese geschwungen und geraden Linien sah, konnte ich es nicht lassen einige Bilder zu knipsen. Als ich die Erklärungstafel erblickte, wurde ich beim Vergleich des Wasserstandes des Stausees auf der Tafel, mit jenem, den wir vorgefunden haben, schon sehr nachdenklich.
(ENG) As the weather on the Spanish north coast of the Atlantic was forecast to be rainy, my girlfriend and I decided to drive across Spain towards the Duero Valley on our trip together. Just before the Portuguese border, in the Spanish province of Castilla y León, we drove over the dam wall of the "Basin de Almendra" reservoir. And when I saw all those curved and straight lines, I couldn't resist snapping a few pictures. When I saw the explanatory panel, I became very pensive when I compared the water level of the reservoir on the panel with the one we found.
(ESP) Como el tiempo en la costa norte española del Atlántico se anunciaba lluvioso, mi novia y yo decidimos atravesar España en coche hacia el valle del Duero en nuestro viaje juntos. Justo antes de la frontera portuguesa, en la provincia española de Castilla y León, pasamos por encima del muro de la presa del embalse "Cuenca de Almendra". Y cuando vi todas esas líneas curvas y rectas, no pude resistirme a hacer unas cuantas fotos. Cuando vi el panel explicativo, me quedé muy pensativo al comparar el nivel de agua del embalse que aparecía en el panel con el que nos encontramos.
