Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are some new shot's while I'm out here on that long vacation, these shots here are of the Battus philenor also know as the Pipevine Swallowtail or Blue Swallowtail and this is a swallowtail butterfly found in North America and Central America. Who doesn't like butterfly shots? Said no one. Just to tell a little story here, the tree's that they were on are called the Mimosa tree, the scientifically known name Albizia Julibrissin, what this tree is, is a deciduous tree that came from the Middle East and Asia. So many more names of this tree, Persian silk tree and pink siris. his tree has finely textured leaves as they are in drooping form, and feathery pink blooms during the summer. Now with that said for my short story I have been driving a lot to get where I want to go and I kept seeing these trees and thought in my head it would be nice to capture something on them, I was thinking bird at the time but what came true is I was down fishing at the creek and shooting with my camera and boom I got the Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly. Thought it was pretty cool story and hopefully a bird will happen if I am by any again, that sure would be cool too. Anyways lets get into these shots, the cover shot, the one above is my absolute favorite shot here today. I was trying so hard to get two in the same frame, in the same scene and I could ask for anything better than this one, both are in focus and it is the shot in my opinion. These are those moments I was talking about, to get the golden shot is why I continue to go out and shoot, they are not easy but every now and again you get something the blows your mind away. This is it for me, and many more to come lets hope. Now the next shot below is pretty cool but the wings on this guy are a little messed up, not so detailed as the other shots but I do like the tree branch, leaf's and flower that this one is on.
Now in the last shot here another cool looking one and tried to get more of the branches with leaves but I feel like they wigged my camera out, the Pipevine Swallowtail looks good and flow, so I tried my best on this one. I hope to see if I can get more, trust me many of the shots were no good, these guys are fast and only on the flower a short time. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this one and I say to you all, keep shooting and doing what you want and love, and to all have a blessed Sunday.
Anyways appreciate everyone feedback hope you have enjoyed my shots and post today' thanks for stopping by, Have a blessed one and thank you for coming in and checking out my shot's of the day. Stay tuned and enjoy my future shots in the world of photography, thru my lens.
