Classic car show - a journey through time on four wheels

Yesterday was super interesting! 😊 When I woke up, I knew I had something important to do, but I couldn’t remember what. Then, while driving to buy stuff for lunch, we saw an old car and suddenly remembered the oldtimer car show! My husband and I started laughing like crazy because we both forgot about it. So, no cooking for us—we had to see the show!

Let’s check out the cars! 😊

They organize this show every year in a nearby town. There was no entrance fee, but you could donate to charity. The coolest part was the auction, if you donated the most, you got a ride in the car! Such a fun way to raise money. I think everyone dreams of driving a classic car. I'm not a big car fan, but oldtimers make me so happy. When I was little, my neighbor had a green VW Beetle with a sliding roof, and I’ve loved it ever since. One day, when I’m rich, there will be signs in my garage! 😊

The show wasn’t huge, but it had so many cars I love. Seeing them was awesome. There were also pre-WW2 and wartime Mercedes cars.

There was also a car built out of wood, which I had never seen before.

Sadly, I don't remember the years some cars were made or took many pictures because I was too busy admiring them. But I did take a picture with a lot of VW Beetles.

One car that really caught my eye was a white Ferrari. A woman got out of it, and all the men surrounded her, asking how she got such a car. It was funny seeing them so curious about a woman owning a Ferrari. 😊

Seeing such cars in person is definitely different from seeing them on TV. It’s a unique feeling because you can truly appreciate the history these cars represent.

This one caught my eye—actually, the engine did. I’m sure if this car broke down, I could repair it. 😊 Compared to modern engines, those from that time weren’t so complicated. Nowadays, it’s almost impossible for me to change a car's light bulb!

And the colors of those cars are truly iconic.

I'm not exactly sure what this car was doing there, but when he started the engine, oh wow, what a sound this is 🙂
