Heart-touching scenes: No massive crowds, pure quiet on street, bussines close, many lives struggling to make income...
After the second lockdown on July, Hoi An was about to reboot the domestic tourist activities. Unfortunately, Hoi An has been recently hit by severe flooding prolonged torrential downpours. Many times in a couples of month, the Old Town was flooded with water and life turns afloat.
This magical town was always full of tourists in every corner but it looks so different now. The current situation is a real challenge as the local economy in Hoian depends mostly on tourism.
Even in a bad weather & quiet atmosphere, The Old Town is still magical and friendly people here are definitely the soul of the land. Photos taken on my visit yesterday.
How's the atmosphere and situation in your hometown?
