Seattle is a city of many contrasts. One of the most striking is probably the contrast between rich and poor. You come across this every day. Looking from the outside, all you see are the gleaming skyscraper facades and you are impressed by this breathtaking city. This is illustrated by the first photo. However, if you walk through the city and look into the dark alleyways, you see a lot of misery and people living on the margins of society. The second picture in this article symbolises this contrast.
Seattle ist eine Stadt mit vielen Kontrasten. Einer der auffälligsten ist wohl der Kontrast zwischen arm und reich. Auf diesen trifft man nämlich jeden Tag. Beim Blick von außen, sieht man nur die glänzenden Wolkenkratzer-Fassaden und ist beeindruckt von dieser atemberaubenden Stadt. Dies soll das erste Foto verdeutlichen. Spaziert man jedoch durch die Innenstadt und blickt in die dunklen Gässchen, sieht man viel Elend und Leute die am Rande der Gesellschaft leben. Für diesen Gegensatz steht das zweite Bild in diesem Beitrag.
