This is a song that speaks about the authenticity of the Mercies of God. Just like the Bible says "They're New Every Morning" our God is indeed a merciful God. I've come to realize that the Mercy of God isn't meant for sinners alone but for everyone because it is by God's mercy we are all alive and thriving. God's mercies supplies our needs, it's not because we deserve them but through His infinite mercies He is ever beside us and whatever that concerns us.
