Do you know that feeling, that you have to do something.....but can´t quite remember what?
This story is just that.
I remember being told to write it but I can´t remember what I was supposed to tell you. What I do know is that everything I am going to tell you really happened, even though it may unbelievable sometimes.

Chapter 61

So what if I am wrong?

What if I am lost without guidance, and made all of this up to give my life meaning?

What if I have thrown some urban myths and historical legends together with some stories told by schizo women to try and make some type of sense out of this senseless world we live in?

If that is the case I am happy I did so and did not have to revert to any drugs or god.
If that is the case I will continue my little crusade, it´s too late to turn back anyway.
If I am wrong I might start a whole new cult, a whole new Priory of Sion, but what if I am not?

What if it´s real, what if I just made you part of the preparations required for the return of Jesus 2.0?

Well in that case it might not feel that special, just like the people that listened to St. John the Baptist when he told them about the coming of The Christ.

Back then on the banks of the Jordan River, some people might have felt compelled by St. Johns's story of what was coming.
Other people were ill at ease with it, as the change might be too uncomfortable.
Plenty of people did not even stop to listen and went about their business as usual.

With today´s knowledge, all would have stopped and listened, made selfies with the guy that in a couple of years would baptize Jesus.

St. John was certain of his coming or made it sound as if he was. I am not bringing up that Baptist guy for fun. Like most things in this story, there is a little more to it.

Long ago, when I was just initiated into the magical realm, in the same house, around the same time I fought that daemon from the first chapter I was asked to think about my magical Avatar.

Whom do you want to have a representation of your magical self? Now I have many magical idols; Hans Klok, Morgaine La Fey, Arglwyddes, Lilith, Helena of Troy, Cleopatra, and Margarita de Heks van Appelscha.

But none of them came to mind at that time. I did not answer the question directly if I remember well. But when I did this is what I arrived at:
"Jesus is definitely the greatest wizard of all time. But I can and will not compare myself to the greatest. I will compare myself to the one that made the greatest possible, the wizard behind the Curtain, St. John The Baptist."

If that made you smile, great because there is a bit of truth to any good joke, isn´t there?

Maybe there is such a thing as the father of the Messiah complex? Or maybe even the grandfather.

I will baptize this complex the St. Johns´s complex, and if I am wrong you just read the first story ever triggered by the mind of a patient that suffers from the St. Johns´s complex.
Before I close this book for now and send you off to my Epilogue that might fill in some gaps I created along the way, there is one more thing I like to say.

If I talk about Jesus 2.0, do not envision a new Catholic Church made big by spilling the blood of so many.

Jesus had no church, he was a savior.
Someone to guide the way for those who were not guided by voices.

A savior is a little light on the very dark path of life, someone to hold onto when you are scared.
An influencer, spreading wisdom while in a position that makes people listen.

A savior is like Bob Marley, Martin Luther King, or even John Lennon. They spread the word, but the world did not listen.

The world is led by stupidity and greed, and unlike Darwin, I do not believe mankind is purely a result of evolution. I think somewhere down the line we were tampered with (there is Erich von Däniken again).

Why I think so, well except for the reasons Von Däniken brings to the table, I think we are odd. Compared to all living things on this planet, we are not normal.

Mankind is Dominant, Destructive, Deliberate, and has a weird quirk to always wonder why?

Humans are different because they think differently. They are able to think of complex scenarios and exchange thoughts with others.

That created things like language, I mean if I get a chicken from South America and one from Germany they still Tok the same Tok, but mankind does not talk the same talk.
And what other animals discuss culture & morality amongst each other?

Mankind is the odd one out, we are not normal, yes like other animals we are still driven by procreation....but our mind works differently.

We have the ability of foresight, not the animal instinct that an earthquake is about to happen or a Tsunami is about to hit.

But the ability to plan in logical sequences, to document our ideas so others can use them to build their ideas. We foresee the foreseeable future and we keep wondering if it´s all a coincidence or providential.
