Goddess Of Darkness: Crash Landing!

Bruce and Lilac are working undercover, hoping to lead INTERPOL to the main people who are involved in a deadly ring of criminals.

Unfortunately the private jet the criminals were using to transport them is in danger of crashing. Our heroes are still wearing shackles and handcuffs, how will they be able to survive?
Marv didn't have time to blindfold Bruce and Lilac again, because the plane suddenly lurched, sending all three of them to their knees. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU IDIOT!" Roared Marv in the general direction of the cockpit.

No answer was offered, but the behavior of the plane gave all three of the conscious passengers a good idea of what was going on.

They and the unconscious Grady were being tossed around like toys. Bruce and Lilac had wisely laid as flat as possible in the aisle.

When the chaos finally ended, Lilac slowly looked up, moving carefully to check if she was still in one piece. Good, only bruises and a few scratches, she thought. "Bruce?"

No reply. Panicked, she got to her knees. She spotted him, rubbing his head. "Don't do that to me!" She shouted, almost in tears.

Bruce covered his head. "Lilac! Don't yell at me, what did I do?!?!" He asked, gingerly feeling for other lumps.

"You didn't let me know that you are still alive..." She said, calmer than before.

Marv, still boiling with rage during the descent, wasn't so fortunate. He had tried to stand up, and was thrown around the plane like a rag doll. He had a nasty gash on his forehead, and was out cold but breathing normally.

Bruce made his way over to Grady, who had somehow managed to wind the keyring's long thin chain around his fingers, probably in anxiety, before being knocked out by Marv. Because of being so flexible while being unconscious, it appeared that he had been unharmed.

Bruce freed himself and then Lilac. "Let's check on the pilot." She said.

Bruce picked up Grady's pistol, and looked at Marv. He wasn't going to be awake any time soon, but Bruce took his weapon too. Better safe than sorry, he thought.

"Oh..." Gasped Lilac. The pilot had obviously given his life to deliver his passengers to the ground safely. He had suffered a broken neck, from the impact.

The cockpit had a large hole in it, the metal peeled back like tinfoil. They'd obviously had a very close call with a large tree.

They exited through the hole, careful not to touch the sharp edges. When she saw the dense jungle, she was amazed at the pilot's skill.

They had basically crash landed in a tunnel, starting in a clearing less than a hundred feet wide, and then going through dense brush, with the path that they had taken being the only possible way to survive.

Bruce whistled. Being a pilot, he fully appreciated what had been done. "That guy must have been an ace pilot!" Bruce said appreciatively.

"Let's get back to the plane, we need to tie up our two friends, and see what we have in terms of supplies." Said Lilac.

Bruce grinned."Aren't we supposed to be the ones tied up?"

"Very funny, Bruce!" But then she laughed.
