Bruce and Lilac have safely crash landed, but they still have to prepare to spend the night out in the wilderness with the two men who had been taking them to a powerful crime Lord. Will they succeed in making it safely through the night, and will help come in the morning?
"I wonder where we are..." Mused Bruce as he and Lilac walked back to the badly damaged plane.
Lilac stopped and examined some of the vegetation. "I believe we are back in South America." She smiled and sounded happy as she announced this.
Bruce wasn't surprised about her reaction. Most times she seemed more comfortable in the wild places, especially the jungle, than she ever did in the cities she was forced to spend time in inbetween her expeditions.
Soon their short walk was over. They carefully entered through the rough hole in the cockpit, avoiding the razor sharp edges. After checking on Grady and Marv, our heroes began looking for things that might be useful.
In particular, Bruce was keeping his eyes open for the handcuffs he had removed earlier. He wished he hadn't dropped them.
Lilac found the food and drinks. "There should be more than enough to last until we are rescued!" She announced happily.
"Did you come across the handcuffs and shackles yet?" Asked Bruce.
"No, I thought you had them?" She said puzzled.
"No, I forgot to put them in my pocket..." He admitted sheepishly. "Is there any rope around here? We need to tie these two up, especially the nasty one." He motioned toward Marv.
"I saw some back there with the lifevests and emergency gear." Said Lilac, going back to another area of the plane. She came back with a package of nylon rope, proudly claiming to be parachute cord.
"We are in luck, someone likes to camp. There's a frame pack full of everything from a saw to this!" Said Lilac, handing him the new package of rope.
Bruce opened it, and approached Marv who hadn't moved except for his steady breathing. As he was walking he was already measuring out a length to use.
Bruce took Marv's wrist, and a split second after the rope brushed his wrist, he had Bruce in a very painful submission hold. It was some type of modified ankle hold.
"Hey! Let go of me!" Exclaimed Bruce.
Marv's only response was to tighten up even more.
"A little help over here, if you aren't too busy?" Bruce cried out to Lilac, who appeared curious about who would win, but not too concerned.
She grabbed a heavy briefcase, and rushed to Bruce's aid. She had suddenly remembered he had a pistol which could be taken should he be overpowered.
As she passed Grady, his hand shot out and grabbed her leg...
