Whoever thinks the western political system is built on the choice of the people by some democratic process is nothing less than delusional.
They might give you some rights in the voting system like to decide between two equal candidates by some polls, or to ask questions, but you'll never get to decide against their will. See Brexit for example when they did a real vote thinking the people will vote to stay and when the outcome was against their will they are stalling and shaking up the ruling party but not until they fix things up their way.
In the USA it's more clearer. In a country of over 320 million citizens, there are only two parties among which the ruling people would be chosen, by the ruling people I mean the ones coming on media not the real ones who move the strings from their shadow offices.
Haven't you ever wondered why there's no US president or presidential candidate or a bloc in the Congress questioning the unlimited abnormal unconditioned weird and costly US support to Israel and its crimes against the real Semitic people? They even compete who will give more to get the endorsement to start running when their competition if the goal was to serve the interests of the US and its citizens is supposed to question every aspect of that relation and why the US should stand against the entire populations of the MENA region, at least, and the whole Muslim world, and the rest of the world at many times to back Israel's expansion on violations of international law and the UN charter.
Why would the USA and its poodle then lackeys invade and destroy Iraq and Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, destabilize Egypt, Iran, Sudan, Algeria, and many other countries for the sake of protecting Israel, and in the process lose tens of thousands of its own killing, maiming, displacing millions of the poorest communities on the other side of the planet and getting killed, and creating terrorist groups in the process and creating unending hatred by the relatives of its victims?!
Doesn't the US people have better priorities in their lives and to use their hard-earned taxed money to better their own lives, don't need to borrow money to buy homes, afford for healthcare, get education for their children without enslaving them with massive loans, and above that all pay astronomical amounts as debts on the borrowed money to the same ones using that money to serve Israel...?!
Why should the Muslims, and the Christians, along with other religions and ethnicity in the world suffer from the US meddling when the US can live so much comfortably without the need to invade other countries and send that huge very costly military around the world sowing conflicts and spilling blood?
It always bother us to see the majorities of the people of the US and all NATO member states in extent and the countries that follow their camp so much blind to all the above, and thinking they have free elections and that despite getting a person the top office by receiving the majority in the elections, there's a small controlled community that decides who sits there and mostly their decision is against the will of the US people, the rest of Western countries are smaller examples.
When the rest of the world stands up to your government crimes and you start facing the reality that you cannot threaten the world anymore, only blame your ignorance and bigotry for that, the whole world hates you and what you represent, not for your values and freedoms, but for your crimes against them and taking away their values and their freedoms.
