It isn't just Alabama, we have a problem.

There's a lot of people talking about Alabama right now. And who wouldn't? The state doesn't even report their incest statistics, and now they're making a hard stand against Roe V. Wade with their refusal to make incest or rape an abortion exemption.

Sorry little Mary Sue, you're going to have to carry Uncle-Daddy's rape baby. And he'll probably have custodial rights to that baby, too, because Alabama is one of seven states that have no laws preventing the rapist's suits for custody of the resulting child.

But as the title states, Alabama is just one of a crowd. In Ohio we have an 11-year-old rape victim that would be forced to carry her rape baby to term. Why? Will the corrupt bastards at CPS even let her keep that baby once it's born if she so chooses? The answer is probably not.

Georgia just passed the "Heartbeat Bill" meaning the fetus cannot be aborted beyond 6 weeks, when most women don't even know they're pregnant yet. The pregnancy test won't even be positive so early in some cases.

If the woman attempts to abort, she will face capital punishment. A life sentence in prison for murder. Or, the death penalty. Because of course a state so backward it still allows teachers to hit children would allow that.

The men get off free though. Nothing in these laws about forcing them to take responsibility for the child. And if he's her rapist? He'll see less jail time for raping her than she will for even attempting to abort. Because that's an attempted murder charge.

Missouri is on board with all of this, also stating rape and incest are not good enough reasons to abort. Their plan is to sentence doctors that perform a now illegal abortion to 15 years in prison.

Kentucky, Mississippi, Lousiana, Michigan and West Virginia are among the others attacking our bodily autonomy. In Alabama there is already a man with a lawsuit against an abortion clinic because the woman "had an abortion without his permission."

Yup. Ladies, in the south, your body belongs to any random one-night-stand or rapist lurking and ready to violate you.

These states have a lot in common. They are poor, with high poverty rates. They are under educated. They rank high on the murder per capita rates. And they leave the rest of us scratching our heads and asking "What the fuck is wrong with those idiots in the south?!"

In other words, the politicians in these states are not the yellow fucking crayons. These are the type of old white men that don't know that a woman can't stop her period from happening at will. These are the men that put in the Ohio legislation that fallopian ectopic pregnancies will be "moved to the uterus" rather than aborted. These are the type of cishet males that vote to take away WIC funding and food assistance. Because fuck that "precious" life once it's outside of a woman's body, right?

This is a direct attack on women everywhere and it is growing. And, why? Why are all of these states suddenly going after Roe.V. Wade?

Well, isn't it obvious?

They think this Trump appointed asshole on the Supreme Court will give them victory. This is what happens when religious fanatics are allowed to run our country.

Science is thrown to the wind. It has been proven time and again that the death penalty is not a crime deterrent.

This comes at a time when the Lobbyists at Merck are pushing hard and winning. You won't have the right to refuse a fucking flu shot with a 10% efficacy soon.

Some states are even pushing for no medical exemptions from vaccines. Sorry, your child suffers from encephalitis from their last vaccine? Too bad. We won't stop vaccinating that kid. SIDS for you!

If we allow this bullshit to continue you'll be forced to allow whatever they choose to do to your body. Toxins via the needle, or imprisonment, where you will forcibly receive them anyway.

Ectopic pregnancy that will kill you if not aborted? Life sentence for murder. Doc gets accessory to murder.

It's time to stop being complacent. The time to light this shit on fire is now. The Handmaid's Tale and 1984 is no longer our future. It is right now.

Do you want to tell your children and grandchildren you did nothing?
