Localism: Emerging trend for 2020 as seen by the crackdown on the 2nd Amendment in Virginia and Elsewhere

Hi folks,

I just wanted to make a quick post about a hot topic of late, namely the full-blown assault on the 2nd Amendment that has been taking place in the United States in the past few years; it is really starting to pick-up steam, particularly in the state of Virginia, one of the original founding colonies of the republic.

Here's an interesting graph to give you an overview of the current situation regarding "2nd Amendment Sanctuary Cities":

The situation has really come to the forefront in late 2019 and early 2020 - especially in that state of Virginia.

And in the following map, you can see that the overwhelming majority of counties in the state have adopted such resolutions (as seen for those in green or dark green colors):

There is an excellent summary of what exactly has been happening in the state of Virginia (particularly with the Democrats taking a majority control of the House) by a very gifted writer named Daisy Luther from the Organic Prepper Blog. Here is a link to this, must read, article:

The bulk of what you need to know can be obtained from either that article above, or from the following video (from SGTReport entitled MEET THE PQTRIOTS):

The gentlemen in the video really lays out what has been happening and backs it all up with sound facts and evidence.

For another, broader and more far-reaching, perspective on this issue, I'd also recommend the following article from another prolific writer name Mike Krieger from LibertyBlitzkrieg.com:

In the article, he lays out the broader trend that seems to be fomenting not only in the United States, but also around the world. And I personally think it will gain a lot of steam in 2020 and beyond.

Although the author seems to doubt the legality of some of the actions taken by people in these sanctuary cities, I tend to think they are rather on the right side of the law, especially as the related issues pertain to the Supreme Law of the Land, namely the Constitution.

For more on the Constitution, I'd invite you all to explore the remarkable work of a constitutional lawyer named John W. Whitehead from The Rutherford Institute:

As citizens all around the world continue to be stripped of their basic rights, we need to learn from what is currently happening in places like Virginia.

The implications will be grand and, collectively, we do have to find a way to break free from the tyranny of government and the ruling elite.

Our collective power is tremendous, but it will require us to get off our lazy asses and get involved like the patriots we see in Virginia and other 2nd Amendment Sanctuary Cities.

God Bless.
