The votes are counted. And it was worse for Theresa May than media votes projections…
The result is a resounding NO to the May’s Brexit deal that never had a chance — 432:202. Worst in the Century.
What next?
A new confidence voting for Theresa May in Parliament on Wednesday.
If she survives, probably another two months of humiliation in begging of some more “negotiations”.
A desperate, but unssuccessful attempts of Remainers to enforce new referendum…
Probable new Parliamentary elections.
All encompassing crisis because… people should understand once and for all, that “representative democracy” is an oxymoron: if you have a middleman — there’s no democracy. This is a situation where the voice of people was more than clear, and their “representatives” failed to deliver. Wherever you have a “representative”, you have a corruption. Wherever you have a corruption, there is no democracy.
Now the question is — will the British people enforce its will despite the price, or they will become one more colony of an aspiring Empire — EU?
