This evening, 22:18 CET, World media reported on the first Turkish air strike against the U.S. backed SDF forces in Hasakah governorate, North-Eastern Syria. This is an official beginning of the Turkish military intervention on the territory of neighboring state.
The strike was conducted at the control point near the border of Syria and Iraq. Two bridges were destroyed and a Kurdish convoy was attacked.
Earlier today, Kurds staged a protest near U.S.-occupied military base, demanding of American troops not to run away, but to protect them from the Turks:
Despite their demands, Donald trump announced withdraw of the U.S. troops from the North of Syria, threatening at the same time Turkey with “total destruction and obliteration of economy”:

American troops withdraw from Kurdish-controlled Northern Syria ahead of Turkish operation:
Most interesting first reaction: Of all countries, Turkey first has informed Iran about the attack saying that it respects the territorial sovereignty of Syria, and that the intervention will be a temporary action.
Things are, unfortunately, getting more interesting by the hour…
