Throwing ‘allies’ under the bus is so 20th Centuriesh. “The Empire” improves on betrayal — now it is throwing ‘allies’ under the tanks!
For the first time during the Trump’s mandate, we have a unity between Reps and Dems — they all cry because of the U.S. Army retreat from the Northeast of Syria, and leaving Kurds at the mercy of the Turkish armada. Was it really a mistake, or we have something more behind the decision?
A Conspiracy Theory
Let me construct a conspiracy theory for you. Let’s say that Donald Trump wanted to withdraw troops from Syria. He tweeted his intentions a few months ago, and… everybody — Pentagon, ‘Intelligence’ community, Deep State, shallow state, media… EVERYBODY cried NO! in unison. So, what Donald Trump can do? He can make a little theater play with his buddy Vladimir Putin, to make a withdrawal inevitable. How that can be done?
Well, Vladimir Putin is known to have a good ties with almost everybody in the World, and almost everybody owes him more or less favors. For example, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan owes him a life, since he got a warning from Russia just before the unsuccessful coup attempted on July 15th, 2016. Putin wants restoration of Syria’s territorial integrity, and that is not possible with the illegal U.S. troops in the country. But who could force them out? By a chance, his close friend Erdogan has a beef with U.S. due to the mentioned coup attempt, and he would certainly feel safer without American troops and Kurdish militants armed to the teeth with American weapons.
Letting Erdogan into Syria with a blind fury and genocidal intentions against Kurds would be a perfect excuse for Trump to withdraw troops and make a case for another Imperial Betrayal. It really isn’t the first time U.S. is throwing Kurds under the tanks. It was actually EIGHT time. Probably most blatant before this one was after the Iraq—Iran war, when America not only left Kurds without any protection on the territory of both countries, but were glad to sell Saddam Hussein a massive amounts of military grade nerve gas, used used to stifle Kurdish rebellion.
That would also force Kurds to stop dreaming about their independent state, and turn to Damascus for help. They are born losers and since they did not learn the lesson in the previous seven times, they will have to repeat it once again. Then Putin will come with a suggestion to deploy Syrian Arab Army along the border and guarantee safety to the Turks from Kurds and vice versa. And everybody gets what they want. Except for the losers…
It will be very interesting to see Imperial corporate media explaining how is it possible that Kurds will side with the “butcher” Assad, against NATO ally Turkey, despite years of fake news about “the crimes Assad is doing over his own people”. We could see how CNN continues with their fake news about the war in Syria…
Duration: 5:48
The whole narrative of “Evil Assad” and “Democratic Islamic headchoppers” is falling apart. Waiting for the rest of the corporate media to start singing something else.
Any more losers?
Europe. In the first hours of the military intervention, Kurds have started to let islamists go, in an attempt to give U.S. reason to stay. Wrong assessment. All those Islamic radicals won’t swim to America. Instead, they will RETURN to Europe to continue their jihad business. Turkey will gladly open their borders at the first sign of European critic against their righteous genocide. What a beautiful chance for U.S. to make EU even weaker and easier to bend under Trump’s will. While also he can play the games of “government overthrow”, imposing “a devastating sanctions” to Turkey…
But that is all just one more conspiracy theory, right?
