President Donald Trump's signature on a 16-nation proclamation to mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings in 1944 stood out from the others this week because he was the only leader to ink his name at the top.
The other 15 signed at the bottom on Wednesday, as is customary.
This is much to do about nothing but the media is covering it so I'll talk about it too. There's several reasons Trump could of signed his name at the top while the other leaders signed their names at the bottom but the media will frame it that Trump is insulting everyone by doing this or some other lame story without actually directly asking him why he did it.
A couple reason why he may of did it could be he was being a gentlemen and leaving room for others to sign at the bottom or maybe he was the last one to sign and the bottom was full so he simple found an open space at the top and signed it. Not that big of a deal in my opinion but the news is covering it because anything controversial about President Trump get the dying main stream media more views.
I would like to assume Trump signed at the top because he doesn't want his signature anywhere near those authoritarian scumbags leaders in Europe but that's probably not the case. I think this is just Trump being his own man and trying to stand out from the rest of the leaders.
