Hi all, I didn't know that I was supposed to do my introduction in my first blog post. Maybe it doesn't have to be the first post but anyway, here it is.
My name is Mark Smith and yes, that's my real name. My parents both had common first names also. It wasn't a big problem until I got called to the office in high school and when they saw me someone said "Oh, you're the wrong Mark Smith". Then I figured out I was not the only one.
Who am I? I always think of the part Billy Crystal did in the movie Analyze This when he was at the big "meeting" wth all the heads of the families and someone asked "Who are you?" It was funny and if you've seen the movie you'll know what I'm talking about. I do like movies and I have watched a bunch. I haven't kept up with the newer things that come out because I can get the dvds cheaper if I wait awhile.
So, I like movies, music (rock & country), cars & motorcycles, some games, women :-)
I have worked as a telemarketer, newspaper delivery person, driver for an auto auction, ice cream truck driver, security guard for various places. Those are the jobs I can remember right now.
I haven't been working a real job for awhile because my mom had some health problems and needed help and then I had some health problems of my own including heart failure in June 2017. I am now getting social security and barely getting by but I was able to get a car so my mom and I don't have to walk and take the bus to do things.
I've been doing things online for about 20 years now. Mostly working in 3D sites like ActiveWorlds and there were some others that are no longer online. Plus there was a great Hot Rod race car game for awhile called Motor City Online which I as in until it was discontinued. I haven't found another good online race car game since.
I am divorced and have a son who is over 27 now (in 2019). I am over 54 at the time I'm typing this.
I'm not sure what else to put here, oh I have a website of course bizelion.net and if you sound it out it should sound like busy lion but I spelled it different because I want it to be a "business" when I got the domain. I haven't sold anything from the pages yet and haven't been able to find a free shopping cart that will work for digital download items, so I'm limited to using paypal buttons.
