But first of all, let me #introduce you to the humble team behind this new project.

Lead Developer Bas:
I'm Bas, the visionary behind this project. The inception of this brainchild began when I pondered a fusion of my favorite computer #games and the nerdy Dungeons & Dragons adventures I orchestrate as a #DungeonMaster for my friends. While my professional background is rooted in #music, the allure of game development has been a constant presence throughout my life. Around 2017, I decided to delve into programming, and as I immersed myself in the world of game #development, programming gradually began to resonate with me.
Loremaster Antonio:
Since childhood, I've been fascinated by storytelling in various media, especially #videogames for their interactive engagement. The allure of stepping into different worlds, exploring cultures, histories, and unfolding narratives is what drives my passion for #storytelling. As a musician, I create music that is inherently narrative-driven. Around 2016, I began #crafting my own world, envisioning it as a versatile backdrop for various forms of media. This journey is fueled by a desire to immerse audiences in rich, captivating narratives across different platforms.

I must express my gratitude to the wonderful individuals within the @ColdBeetrootSoup community (special shoutout to @Artakush and @Minigunner!). Their support has been invaluable. They are the reason the first Social we are settling on is Hive!
Now on to the meat and potatoes of this post; the game itself. Please be mindful that the game is in a very early Pre-Alpha stage right now.
Why dis Project?
This project was born from my deep fascination with the storytelling and consequential role-playing elements found in games like Planescape: Torment, Disco Elysium, and the Fallen London series. These titles captivated me with their intricate narratives and the meaningful choices they offered players.
At the same time, I was drawn to the sandbox experience provided by the Mount and Blade series, where players have the freedom to shape their own destinies in a dynamic world. This sense of agency and exploration resonated with me deeply.
Additionally, I found inspiration in the intimate and strategic battles of the Dominions series and the Total War series. These games emphasized the importance of tactics and decision-making in combat, adding another layer of depth to the overall gaming experience.
Combining these elements, I set out to create a project that would offer #players a rich and immersive storytelling experience while providing them with the #freedom to shape their own narratives and engage in strategic battles that carry weight and consequence. This project is a culmination of my passion for narrative-driven gaming and my desire to create a world where players can truly lose themselves in the #story.
