Random Japan #28 :: Cars, Ugly Buildings, and Free Water

This is the main road up into Toyota City. Yes, the city is named after the company. It is packed with cars pretty much all day. During rush hour it will be at a stand-still for hours. Imagine making that drive every morning and evening.

So I've showed you guys a few traditional houses in this series and a couple modern ones. How about other types of buildings. Man, is that an ugly building or what? This is actually a relatively common style to be found in many cities. What were they thinking...

Pretty much all parks in Japan have a water faucet somewhere on the grounds. It makes for a convenient place to wash kiddie hands after they have been playing in the dirt. Every time I visit the states, I wish parks there had faucets like this.
