Lockers are everywhere in Japan. Train stations, airports, shopping malls, tourists spots, streets, alleys, and everywhere. We always wonder why there is a need for so many lockers.
And in this particular basement of Tokyo station, you can see hundreds of lockers catered for different sizes.
Most lockers in Japan accept coins, ranging from 300 Yen to 800 Yen. There are some newer machines that accept payment cards like Suica too. Common usage for us tourists is to store our luggages while waiting to check-in to the hotel or before heading to the airport.
Have you used lockers in Japan before? What do you use it for?
