Nature's Offerings at the @gardenofeden - Bountiful Land in Bloom

Spring is one of my favorite times of year.
From the cold, dark, brown existence of winter
springs forth new life in all its glory.

Spring in the @gardenofeden is really spectacular.
The beauty is beyond words.

Bright red lilies were on this land when I bought it 21 years ago.

I planted Opal Oxalis in a couple of locations around the yard.  Not only is it exquisite to look at, but it's edible too!  It tastes rather tangy and citrusy.  We put it in our daily juice and eat it in our salads--the flowers too!

You can see in the foreground the tiny green plants with the sprinkling of yellow flowers.  These are also oxalis, but the kind that nature grows, seemingly out of nowhere.  These tiny oxalis are growing all over the land.  All of these flowers multiply themselves and return every year with practically no care.

These yellow iris grow where our now laundry lines are stretched.  We get to see their beauty while taking care of our daily needs.

Purple and yellow iris grow at the @gardenofeden.  There were a couple of each of these plants when I moved here, but I have spent many hours dividing the bulbs to help them be more prolific, then they just grow their flowers back on their own.

Behind the Buddha is our outdoor shower.  Our shower is covered in roses.

I planted this red rose bush which has grown very large, but is now covered by tiny white roses that add to the smell of heaven!

This is the blooming Bradford Pear tree.  (It's Tree Tuesday!!!)  This tree doesn't bear fruit, but gives us this show of sweet white blossoms in the spring, and a firey red display in the fall.  We have two of these trees on the property that were here, but much smaller when I acquired the land.

These flowers are growing from an Asian Blend of greens we add to our green juice and stir frys.  These greens love to reseed themselves, so there is little we must do to enjoy their continued status in our raised beds.

Nature grows several kinds of dandelions and thistles that are also edible.  They make a great addition to our daily green juice, and we literally need do nothing to aid them in their process.

This is a peach tree blossom.  When I moved here there were only a couple of peach trees, but I've transplanted many over time.  We now have an abundance of them sprouting up all over the land.  Not only do we get a remarkable flowery show, we also get free peaches!!!

This is henbit.  Henbit is a prolific gift from nature that takes care of itself completely.  It grows these tiny purple flowers that go into our daily juice, as well as the leaves and the stems.

Just look at all those sunflowers!!!!  Everyone of those tiny sprouts will turn into a 10-12 foot tall sunflower stalk, producing dozens of yellow sunny faces on every plant.  We eat these sprouts, juice the leaves as they grow, and enjoy the flowers waving in our yard until fall.

I'm not sure what this flower is.  It doesn't appear to be related to the squash growing around it.  There are many such interesting things growing out of our compost pile.  It's always a surprise what decides to make its way back to life on its own.

Hundreds of little, delicate flowers from our chive patch.

This is only a small little taste of the abundance that is the @gardenofeden.
Everyday we enjoy her bounty, and have the opportunity
to share the health and wealth of nature.
Not only do we put many of these plants into our juice,
salad and high vibe cuisine,
we also make herbal blends for cooking, drinking and smoking.
We also have a seed bank, offering up some tiny bits of nature
so many others can grow their own free food too.

Year round there are healthy options at the @gardenofeden.
Someone is going to really benefit from all our efforts.
We are offering our property up for sale to raise the funds for our Eden 2.0 expansion.
Whoever gets in on this property will already have an abundant eco-system in place,
one that supports thrival!!

Even if you're not going to be the new occupant,
You can come get a taste of the vortex at our Eden Metamorphosis Festival.

Here is an open invitation that, if any of you choose to accept it,
will likely be an experience in community you will never forget.

and this is YOUR chance to get in on the action.
