A Common Thread: The Attempted Communist Coup: #3 in a continuing series

"Gun store goes into lockdown over report an 'active university professor' roving the grounds" --The Peoples Cube

Am I delusional in thinking America is waking up? I am really encouraged to see Branco's 'Deep State' cartoon and Sharyl Attkisson's piece. Here's her video report:

Ms. Attkisson is one of the few remaining real American journalists.

If you read nothing else here, I urge you to digest Downton's outstanding analysis of what he calls, "A Slow-Motion Coup." Yes, it's long and a tad tedious, but it explains what's going on in a clear, concise manner.

"In their minds they are but a guardian of the people, albeit one that must stand up to and ultimately negate the will of that very same people."

David Zukerman's short piece on American Thinker illustrates and underscores Downton's article by asking one simple question:

Why can’t Republican members of Congress investigate collusion between the FBI, the Obama White House, the Hillary Clinton campaign, and the media, for the purpose of 1) framing candidate Trump to prevent his election, and 2), thereafter, covering-up the conspiracy to reverse the results of the 2016 presidential election?

The answer, David, is simple. Republican members of Congress, for the most part, are more concerned about maintaining their power and status as Elites than they are in defending the Republic against a Marxist coup attempt.

  • Downton, James: We Are Watching A Slow-Motion Coup D’etat
  • This article outlines the mechanisms, institutions, and nature of this coup d’etat; not in defense of President Donald Trump — who has proven himself bereft of the temperament of a successful president — but in defense of the institutions of our republic that are now not just threatened, but may very well be on the verge of collapse.
  • Gingrich, Newt: Surrender or fight - our country is at stake
  • We are today in a one-sided cultural civil war. The Left has picked the battlefield and defined the terms of engagement. If conservatives respond to this aggressive, sometimes violent hostility from the Left with confusion, uncertainty, and appeasement, we are guaranteed to lose the struggle to drain the swamp and reform Washington.
Further, surrendering will destroy America as we know it. Far from making America great again, we will have yielded our country to left-wing thugs, liars, and intimidators.
  • McMorris, Bill: Teachers’ Union Contract Guarantees Jail-Time Pay
  • Staff members at the nation's largest teachers' union are guaranteed pay for the time they spend in jail if it is related to union work.

In short, union members are encouraged to break the law in any way they see fit. Burn down buildings, deface private property, crap on police cars...anything at all, as long as they can show it's "union business." Right...and these are the same folks that are brainwashing your children.

  • Sanchez, Tony: NYC, San Francisco Public Libraries Host Monthly ‘Drag Queen Story Hour’ for Kids
  • The children sit around as a man who calls his alter-ego Lil’ Miss Hot Mess reads them stories and leads them in sing-alongs about drag queens. In the AP video, he reads a story about a female character whose friends think she should be less of a tomboy and dress and act like a girl. In another story, you hear the man read to the kids, “We can both be grooms.”
Lil’ Miss Hot Mess asks the kids, “Who wants to be a drag queen when they grow up?”
  • Zukerman, David: Democrats and the rule of law
  • As of this writing there has been no bipartisan call for an investigation of what Professor Stephen F. Cohen calls "Intelgate." Why can’t Republican members of Congress investigate collusion between the FBI, the Obama White House, the Hillary Clinton campaign, and the media, for the purpose of 1) framing candidate Trump to prevent his election, and 2), thereafter, covering-up the conspiracy to reverse the results of the 2016 presidential election?
