Today is April 1, 2018, it is said it’s western country’s festival “April Fool’s Day” . On this day, people can play jokes on each other, but they are mainly played by using relaxing and happy words. The time for people to play a joke must be finished at 12 noon. This is the rule that everyone should be followed. If you make jokes after 12 o'clock, then you will be the biggest fool the next year.
So western country’s has Fool’s day , but we Chinese have another story , that is the story of the fool man remove the mountain.” I don’t know whether the people in west country’s have heard of it or not , but it is really different from the fool’s day.
Once upon a time , there was an old man , who decided to remove the two mountains in front of his house. He digged the mountains day by day with his sons and his grandsons and in the end ,
His spirit moved the emperor of heaven, and the emperor moved the two mountains to another place.
Though it is a foolish behavior in the eyes of the people in the world, but its spirit of persistence encouraged us to turn the impossible into possibility. This spirit is called the spirit of Fool’ man .
In our today impetuous society, people are pursuing this instant interest, but the spirit of the fool man’s persistence has been forgotten. So we must believe ourselves , if we want to finish a task , we should keep this spirit and keep on doing till we can get the success.
今天是4月1日，据说是西方国家的民间传统节日，叫愚人节。在这一天人们可以互相开玩笑，但是主要以轻松快乐为主。人们开玩笑的时间也在中午12点之前结束。这是大家约定俗成的规矩。如果你过了12点还开玩笑，那将是最大的笨蛋。
西方有愚人节，那你知道我们中国有愚公移山吗？愚公移山是一个小故事。它和愚人节可是完全不一样。故事是这样的：“从前有一位叫愚公的老人，因家门口有两座山，出行十分不便，于是，他就带着儿子和孙子日复一日的挖山挑石，在他的带领下，天神被他的持之以恒的精神感动，最后把两座大山移到了别处。”
虽然在世人的眼里，这是一种愚蠢的行为，但正因为他这种坚持不懈的精神，最终把不可能变成了可能。
在我们当今这个浮躁的社会，人们都在追求这即时利益，像愚公这种持之以恒的愚人精神，却逐渐被人们所遗忘。因此我们一定要坚信，只要秉承着一颗愚人之心，比别人多一点努力，多一点执着，多一点苛求，最后就会成功。
