So I've been waiting for this day for almost 3 months now and it's finally here. This is the first step towards receiving my driver's license again.
The first step is to past the theory, and then the driving test. This was a huge challenge for me because I was under the opinion that the driving theory test can only be taken in German French or Italian. Not being able to speak any of those language fluently I was ready to give up.
After speaking to a friend of mine that was 20 years younger, and that he failed the first time he did the theory test in his language, I thought I could never do this. I'm only here for 2 years and I'm still struggling with the language, there's no way I can pass this test.
So for the last year I've been taking access to the public transportation which are the buses and the trains. However I really miss driving my c
One of the things I have taught my daughters is to never give up. I believe there's always a way to get things done. So now that this situation apply to me why was I doing the opposite. So I buckled down and started researching as to how I can sit my story Test in English. After months of researching I found out that I can take the test in english in another city.
To save money I purchased an app so could practice the theory test. Many of the questions were challenging. They were not necessarily difficult questions. They were what you call "brain teasers." As you may be aware the older one gets the the more difficult it is for you to learn things.
So now the day has finally arrived after 2 hours of driving I'm finally here.
My nerves are driving me crazy but I've learned to keep myself calm by praying, tightening my stomach muscles and focusing on the positive.
On arriving in inside the office I was distracted by this exhibit of an older car. I just love cars and engines so this help me to come down even more.
There were a few other people waiting to take test just like me. I made sure I arrive early so have a few minutes to go over a few notes. Before I knew it it was time to go in.. the moment has arrived!
So here I go I'll let you know how it goes!
Talk to you soon,
