Sometimes a film causes one to re-evaluate our place in life, The Breadwinner has just that effect. Set in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan, we follow the journey of brave 11-year-old Parvana as she navigates life's obstacles in a newly-changed world.
How far would you go to save your family?
We witness the impossible choices women have to face when the men are imprisoned while they're confined to the home. How do they feed themselves when forbidden to venture out without a male chaperone? Parvana uses her clever mind in an attempt to find a pathway through the trials that beset her family.

This beautifully-drawn animated drama received a 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer and an 86% audience score. Executive producer Angelina Jolie delivers an instant classic in this tale highlighting the power of love. The gorgeous artwork is a feast for the eyes, and Saara Chaudry does an excellent turn at voice-acting young Parvana, along with the rest of the talented cast.

Weaving ancient Afghan myths into recent events, The Breadwinner should have a place on your must-see list. Be inspired! Once you start watching, you won't want to stop.
Thank you so much!
